Dr Cynthia Papendick is an Emergency Physician at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She has a keen interest in the investigation of suspected acute coronary syndromes and chest pain in emergency departments. Over the past 8 years she has been instrumental in developing pathways to improve the efficiency of this process. She is the senior author of the first RCT examining the use of a high sensitivity troponin T assay, RAPID TnT and is currently working on a pre and post implementation study regarding use of the protocol in South Australia.
